We're looking for a Media Consulting Manager to support our Media team in partnership with MAF Carrefour, acting as a trusted advisor to build strong client relationships and successfully deploy our world‑class Media capabilities across digital, in‑store and personalisation channels. This role offers the opportunity to bring rich customer data to life and drive meaningful impact, supporting both client transformation and the growth of the dunnhumby Media business. Based in Dubai, you will collaborate with passionate, high‑performing teams, bring deep media expertise to shape client value propositions, support new and existing account development, drive proposition innovation, and provide subject matter consulting throughout client engagements.
What We Expect From You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Retail Media strategy development and planning across marketing, selling and servicing within complex, multi-channel retail clients
  • Experience of working closely with media & shopper marketing agencies
  • Strong knowledge of the market and competitor landscape for Media strategy and delivery
  • Good working knowledge of the application of enabling technologies for media
  • Partner with Sales and Client teams to understand new and existing client needs, support new business and existing client account development and sell in relevant and compelling product and/or service solutions
  • Support pre-sales activities and lead generation in coordination with Sales and Client teams and support client team in gathering all relevant information to present to and gain governance approval on any new client proposal
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing Client Value Propositions (CVPs) including: client needs/ market demands, documenting existing CVPs and identifying gaps in our overall offering, idea generation & qualification, contributing to design & development of new CVPs, driving the refinement & improvement of existing CVPs, working closing with Product teams
  • Lead delivery of consulting projects for priority clients or to win long term deals and ensure quality deliverables for the client
  • Ensure excellent standards and profitable delivery of Media projects in the Region based on global best practice
  • Support Media business mobilisation for smaller-scale clients if required, and ensure full handover to Client team (commercial and media client services)
  • Contribute towards creating a best-in-class Media Capability team globally; Support Media training of dunnhumby sales teams through leading/ supporting training sessions and contributing to content updates
  • Contribute to evolution of dh thought leadership and take advantage of opportunities to position dunnhumby as thought leaders and capability partners through writing blogs/articles or speaking at conferences and other industry events

About Company

Clive Humby and Edwina Dunn, a husband and wife pair, founded the business. Both of them worked at Caci, and Humby was a mathematician schooled at the University of Sheffield. On the day that Dunn was fired, Humby departed Caci, citing his desire to launch his own company. In 1989, the pair launched Dunnhumby from their kitchen in their west London neighborhood of Chiswick. The business started serving customers, such as Cable & Wireless and BMW. Dunnhumby purchased the marketing and promotions management firm Aptaris in May 2018.


Dunnhumby first became well-known for his role in founding Tesco Clubcard. Tesco, which trailed Sainsbury's in the UK retail sector in 1994, intended to develop a new loyalty card. Grant Harrison, the guy in charge of Tesco's trials, went to a conference where Clive Humby was giving a speech.


After Harrison and Terry Leahy, Tesco's then-marketing director, consented to a study, the corporation was invited to publish its findings in 1994 following a series of successful experiments. Tesco's then-Chairman, Lord MacLaurin, delivered the initial board reaction, stating, "What worries me about this is that you know more about my customers after three months than I know after thirty years.
