Position Summary:
The Private Credit Due Diligence Manager supports the origination, execution, and monitoring of private debt investments across the SSEA region, with a primary focus on financial institutions and tech-enabled lenders (fintechs). Specifically, the Due Diligence Manager is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end information requirements of the due diligence process for investment opportunities, working closely with the investment team and borrower clients, as well as contributing to certain investment decision materials.The role requires a can-do attitude, strong project management, exceptional organizational skills, financial analysis experience, an indefatigable work ethic, poise and professional maturity, an interest in impact investing in emerging and frontier markets, and English language fluency (additional regional languages a plus).
Due Diligence Management
- Coordinate closely with senior management (e.g., CFO, Treasurer, etc.) on all due diligence-related information requests
- Issue due diligence information requests to borrower clients
- Ensure prompt collection of requested information and follow-up as needed to adhere to transaction timelines
- Set up virtual data rooms and organize information in an orderly and structured manner
- Review information for completeness and accuracy and address issues as needed
Credit Analysis
- Conduct preliminary credit analysis on the set of qualitative and quantitative information received, highlighting key trends and identifying areas worthy of deeper analysis during full-scope due diligence;
- Prepare preliminary credit approval materials to support obtaining Greenlight credit approval from Fund Management for all transactions
- Participate in select portions of due diligence, including on-site visits and senior management meetings
- Prepare sections of full credit approval materials to support obtaining Final Credit Approval for all transactions
Database Management and Internal Reporting
- Help to manage and maintain internal Private Credit teams pipeline and transaction databases
- Contribute to ad hoc data production requests related to presentations and regional market analyses

General Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, with relevant coursework in economics, finance, and/or accounting
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial or investment banking, corporate finance, asset management, internal/external audit preferably in connection with emerging markets, international development, and/or socially responsible investing
- Financial and credit analysis skills, ideally as it relates to financial institutions
- Strong project management skills and attention-to-detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, and an ability to learn quickly, manage multiple high-priority projects, and work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
- Can-do attitude suited to a small firm culture
- Ability to work and to communicate effectively with team members across different geographies and from different cultures
- Language Skills:English fluency (written and verbal) required
- Willingness to travel across the SSEA region (10%)
