Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
• Monitor and track project costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
• Identify and analyze variances from budgets and forecasts, and investigate cost overruns.
• Recommend and implement cost-saving measures to improve project profitability.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and financial analyses to management for informed decision-making.
• Analyze and monitor company P&L statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Track and forecast revenue streams, ensuring accurate financial projections.
• Manage and analyze sales pipelines, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional departments (e.g., Project Management, Sales, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and cost-control methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, project management, or a related financial field.
• Proven experience in managing project budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address financial discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools (e.g., MS Excel).
• Experience with cost control software (e. g., Primavera, Deltek) a plus.
