Role : SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming, test automation, and continuous integration practices. This role focuses on designing scalable automation frameworks, validating product functionality, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium, Appium, REST Assured and Pytest.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and API testing to ensure product quality and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and DevOps to drive automation coverage and test efficiency.
• Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins
  
  , enabling continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Leverage strong programming skills (Python, Java) to build reusable utilities and enhance automation reliability.
• Utilize tools such as JMeter, Postman and BrowserStack for performance and compatibility testing across environments.
• Monitor and analyze test execution results, track quality metrics and contribute to root cause analysis and defect prevention.
• Stay ahead of emerging automation technologies, frameworks and quality engineering best practices to continuously enhance testing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter and API testing with Postman or Swagger.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages — Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, Pytest and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins and version control using Git/GitHub.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum and defect management processes.
• Excellent analytical, debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to quality improvement
