Job Description
- As a Research Engineer at E2open, you will play a crucial role in developing models and prototypes in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Optimization, and mathematical algorithms to solve supply chain problems and assess potential business value quantification.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist senior team members in defining and prototyping mathematical, optimization, and machine learning models for specific supply chain issues.
- Construct proof of concepts under the guidance of senior team members.
- Stay updated on supply chain, mathematical, and industrial research relevant to supply chain.
- Draft product specifications for the development team to integrate algorithms and mathematical models into products for general availability.
- Perform other tasks and activities as assigned.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Bachelor's/Ph.D. degree in mathematical/statistical, computer science, and/or operations research.
- Strong foundation in optimization (e.g., linear programming), machine learning, mathematics, and statistics.

- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
In this role, you will be working in a general office environment that involves extensive computer usage, including viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday. You may also be required to handle phone calls and travel as needed.
