ELV Project Site Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ELV Project Site Engineer is responsible for the execution, supervision, and coordination of all ELV system activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including ICT, CCTV, Access Control, AV, and related systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure all site activities are executed as per approved drawings and method statements.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project trackers.
• 
  Conduct site inspections and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Raise RFIs and resolve technical issues at site.
• Monitor material delivery, storage, and utilization.
• Support testing & commissioning and ensure proper documentation.
• Liaise with client, consultants, and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and site safety requirements.

Experience:

• 37 years of relevant experience in ELV systems.
• Mandatory experience in construction projects (commercial, residential, Hotel & retail Mall ICT infrastructure).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of ELV systems and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• SIRA/SERA certification (preferred).
• UAE/GCC project experience.
