Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, conducting audits, and analyzing financial data. The role also involves supporting budgeting, cost management, and financial decision-making processes to optimize business performance and maintain financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Auditing, and Taxation
• Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Financial Analysis
• Ability to conduct Budgeting, Cost Management, and Strategic Financial Planning
• Proficiency in Accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, Microsoft Excel)
• Professional certification in Chartered Accountancy (CA) is required
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in the Steel Plant industry is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 to 15 years experience required.

• Strong ability to interpret complex data, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and provide strategic recommendations
• Implementing internal control processes, and coordinating internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Developing annual budgets, forecasting, and creating Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to track performance.
• Preparing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone accounts in compliance with Ind-AS and Indian GAAP.
• Deep understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, and direct tax laws.
