Salary: 2 Lacs to 2.5 Lacs Per Annum

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of all Laptop and desktop, systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Set up and configure desktop systems, laptops, and applications.
- Maintain and upgrade desktop hardware and software as needed.
- Install, configure, and support network printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Respond to and resolve support requests via email, phone, or in person.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up new systems and preparing equipment for return.
- Provide user training on software and hardware usage when necessary.
- Perform system updates and patch management to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
- Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with IT staff to maintain a high level of system availability and performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology/ Diploma, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, or a related role.
- Proficiency in supporting Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Active Directory, MS Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and other enterprise software.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
