Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchant Banking Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support and assisting in the execution of various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and advisory services. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis & Modeling:
• Develop and maintain financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis to support M&A, debt, and equity transactions.
• Due Diligence Support:
• Assist in conducting due diligence for potential deals, analyzing financial statements, and assessing the financial health of target companies.
• Market Research:
• Perform research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor landscapes to assist in transaction structuring and decision-making.
• Deal Execution:
• Support senior bankers in the execution of transactions, including the preparation of presentation materials, pitch books, and client communication.
• 
  Client Interaction:
• Assist in preparing client presentations and materials for meetings, calls, and pitches. Interact with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders as necessary during the transaction process.
• Risk Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor risk factors associated with potential transactions and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Transaction Documentation:
• Assist in the preparation and review of transaction documents, such as term sheets, confidentiality agreements, and financial statements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. A CFA or MBA is a plus.
• Experience:
• 0-2 years of experience in investment banking, merchant banking, or financial services. Internship experience in a related field will be considered.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques is essential.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze financial statements and data to derive meaningful insights.
