IT Analyst

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with other IT section personnel to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable. br> Identify options for potential solutions to IT issues and assess them for both technical and business suitability.br> Conduct regular reviews of IT systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.br> Identify the organisational need for new applications and prepare technical specifications as a roadmap for software development.br> Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing company software, hardware and IT processes.br> Submit reports to the relevant department heads and senior management when necessary.br> Provide instructions and training to staff when necessary.br> Attend regular internal and external meetings to provide updates on the progress of IT tasks and to present to users the application solutions being proposed.br> Keep system stakeholders informed on issues and progress.br> Design KPI dashboards and other web related reports.br> Assist in preparing specifications and user requirements. Encode, test, debug and document programs for relatively straightforward or small projects. br> Ensure all IT property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.br> Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.br> Support other members of the IT section in fulfilling their roles.br> Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.br> Perform other duties as required by their line manager and the Manager, IT and Digitalisation.
