Position Overview:

As the Director, Business Growth & Education Management, you will be responsible for strengthening key educational and operational functions along with growing new verticals, ensuring sustainable growth and impact. This role requires a results driven leader and a dynamic executor, who will be responsible for driving the growth of key new verticals, overseeing student development, ensuring effective curriculum execution, expanding professional learning initiatives, optimizing school and PU college operations, and implementing the technology roadmap to support long-term sustainability and impact.

Key Areas of Impact:

  • Ekya Learning Centre (ELC): Driving impactful learning experiences while focusing on student outcomes and achievements
  • Student Development & Wellbeing: Driving holistic student engagement, well-being, and growth programs
  • Ekya Professional Development Institute (EPDI): Expanding the Ekya PDI footprint for external audiences while ensuring strong alignment and support for internal audiences
  • Ekya Early Years (EEY) Growth & Operations: Building and growing the new Early Years centers while ensuring operational excellence
  • School Operations: Overseeing end-to-end operational efficiency across all campuses
  • Technology & Digital Innovation: Oversee the execution of the technology roadmap to enhance learning, operations, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ekya Learning Centre (ELC)

  • Drive impactful learning experiences by ensuring effective curriculum implementation and instructional excellence
  • Establish clear student achievement benchmarks and regularly assess learning outcomes
  • Work with the ELC team to integrate innovative pedagogical approaches that enhance student learning
  • Implement data-driven decision-making to improve learning experiences and academic performance

2. Student Development & Wellbeing

  • Oversee and implement student engagement programs that support holistic growthacademically, socially, and
  • emotionally
  • Develop initiatives focused on student well-being, life skills, and leadership development
  • Monitor and analyze student outcomes, engagement levels, and feedback to enhance student success strategies
  • Collaborate with academic and counseling teams to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development

3. Professional Development Institute (EPDI)

  • Expand EPDIs footprint by identifying opportunities to serve external educators and institutions
  • Ensure strong internal alignment by providing professional development initiatives tailored for Ekya educators and leaders
  • Develop high-quality learning modules and training programs that address current educational needs and trends
  • Track participation, impact, and feedback to refine and enhance training offerings

4. Ekya Early Years (EEY) Growth & Operations

  • Drive the growth and expansion of Early Years centers, ensuring seamless launch and operational excellence
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in quality, safety, and learning experiences
  • Drive admissions and enrollment growth through targeted outreach and strong parent engagement
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure high-quality early childhood education standards

5. School Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end operational processes across all campuses to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Implement and enforce SOPs for school administration, facilities management, and compliance
  • Work closely with Heads of Schools to streamline processes, enhance campus experiences, and address operational challenges
  • Regularly track key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization

6. Technology & Digital Innovation

  • Execute the technology roadmap to enhance learning experiences and operational efficiency
  • Oversee the implementation of digital learning platforms, ERP systems, and automation tools
  • Leverage AI and EdTech solutions to enhance curriculum delivery, student assessment, and administrative processes
  • Use data analytics to drive insights and improve decision-making across educational and operational functions.

7. Leadership & Organizational Growth

  • Build and grow high-performing teams with a focus on accountability and innovation
  • Provide result driven leadership to functional heads across the different verticals reporting into this role
  • Build a high-performance leadership culture, mentoring and developing future leaders

8. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead new projects and initiatives as the organization evolves
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and scale operation.
  • Additional teams or functions may be added based on strategic priorities and growth opportunities

  • Execution & Operational Excellence: Strong project management, process optimization, and ability to drive results efficiently
  • Business Growth & Financial Acumen: Experience in scaling business units, managing P&L, and identifying market opportunities

  • People Leadership: Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams with accountability
  • Technology & Digital Transformation: Knowledge of EdTech, ERP systems, automation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Growth Mindset & Adaptability: Agile, innovative, and resilient in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors in Engineering + Masters from a Tier 1 institution (IIM/ISB/BITS or global equivalent)
  • 7+ years of experience in education management, business growth, or scaling ventures
  • Proven track record in scaling education businesses or managing high-growth operations
  • International exposure is highly valued
