The EA Information Technology group (EAIT) is a global team dedicated to empowering EA's employees, studios, and business operations to be creative, collaborative, and productive. As an Architect with software engineering experience, you will join the AI Technologies Engineering team at EA. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, AI Technologies, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative applications and services powered by Generative AI (GenAI). Your role will focus on driving technical excellence and delivering impactful business solutions through GenAI-driven innovations.
In this position, you will be tasked with architecting and engineering full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration across front-end, back-end, and cloud-based AI services. Your work will aim to enhance efficiency, improve user experiences, reduce friction, and unlock new business capabilities enabled by GenAI technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing and writing software for GenAI powered applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer secure, efficient, and scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Engineer Generative AI-powered solutions and applications.
- Drive code quality, security, performance optimization, and DevOps practices.
- Apply modern software architecture and engineering best practices.
Experience:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of job experience in a hands-on coding role.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Generative AI software engineering solutions, such as GitHub CoPilot.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, including Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Java or C#.
- Experience in engineering secure, scalable, efficient, and well-architected software.

- Experience with RESTful web services and modern web applications.
- Experience in configuring and deploying cloud services, such as AWS ECS/Fargate, AWS Serverless, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, etc.
- Strong collaboration skills.
Beneficial Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-based AI services and infrastructure.
- Experience with Generative AI solutions, such as Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, and Hugging Face.
