Our clients a leading group , is seeking for its HVAC division for large projects that it has undertaken .
The Assistant Manager Procurement will play a key role in managing the procurement process for our operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of procurement best practices and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers. The successful candidate will ensure that procurement activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Position : Asst Manager Procurement
Salary : 2000 -3000 USD per month
Location: Congo DRC

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support accordingly.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports and documentation for audit purposes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting procurement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a Must
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and practices.
