Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
- Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.
- Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof?of?concept prototypes.
- Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling.
- Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis.
- Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.
- Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.
- A detail-oriented problem solver with a strong engineering mindset. You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute ideas to innovate and improve product solutions. You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting), etc.
Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem?solving methods.

Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills.position
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in mechanical design or equivalent
2 - 5 years experience in product design
