• Proactively create costed bill of material reports by sales order line for regions where FTAs exist (continually review of backlog and upcoming requirements).


• Determine sales order and line qualifications via use of controlled processes and communicate results


• Solicit and manage country of origin declarations from suppliers each year, track request date and received date, ensure country of origin certificates are received, track effective dates and request updated or new certificate when required.


• Manage and maintain COO share point


• Respond to customer requests for certificates


• Prepare certification documentation for signature by global trade manager


• Work with suppliers of purchased raw material to determine if they can support FTA requirements


• Solicit Country of Origin Declaration from Suppliers. If Country of Origin is U.S. or OTHER FTA country (Australia, Chile) request US/FTA Declaration, where applicable. Solicit COO each year and retain declarations. Retain


• Country of Origin Declaration in Purchasing Supplier folder and a copy on Reno Microsoft Team Site in Supplier Folder.


• Determine Sales Order Line item requires Free Trade Agreement Qualification. Requirement may come from Customer email or run Reno Backlog Report from BI Reports.


• Create Costed bill of Material Excel Sheet from SAP ERP System. Report is US Multiple BOM Report enhanced by I.T. based on requirements needed for the FTA Qualification


• Create Costed bill of Material Excel Sheet from SAP ERP System. Report is US Multiple BOM Report enhanced by I.T. based on requirements needed for the FTA Qualification



• Liaison between the customer and the plant- so for example Australia and/or Chile would contact them for required qualifications and needed certs Determine Single Value Cost where applicable
  

Review any change in Procurement/Manufacturing (e.g., Supplier, Cost, Origin, Bill of Material), update as needed.
Review Costed Bill of Material Excel Sheet for any errors that may Impact FTA qualifications. When Costed Bill of Material Excel Sheet is completed, load into Reno's Microsoft Team Site. Notify Purchasing to Review.
On Costed Bill of Material Excel Sheet, add 7 New Columns for US/[Country] Certificate, Date Requested, Date Received, Originating , Non-Originating, Self-Produced and De Minimis to create a Free Trade Agreement Qualification Worksheet.
Review Certificate of Origins from Suppliers. Update Certificate from Supplier Y or N, Date Requested, Date Received.
Identify which Free Trade Agreement (US-Australia or US-Chile) is applicable for Sales Order Line Item. This is determined based on if sales order is shipping to Australia or Chile. On Free Trade Agreement Qualification Worksheet, insert Rows 6 to 60 of either Australia or Chile Formula Worksheet to document Buildup Method/Builddown Method, Regional Value Content Information, Definitions, General Notes of Free Trade Agreement used in qualification process. Australia Formula Worksheet and Chile Formula Worksheet are included in this workbook, see sheet tabs.
Fill in FTA Qualification Date, Final Product Part Number, Final Product Common English Name, Final Product Assigned HTS Number. (Trade Compliance will complete Criterion and Regional Value Content)
See Rules of Origin Section of Formula Worksheet. Identify Final Product Assigned HTS Number. For each BOM component part HTS that is not in final product HTS sub-heading, put BOM line item single unit value in "Originating" Column. Any HTS at BOM line item level that has a tariff shift from component part HTS to final product assigned HTS number would go in "Originating". If no tariff shift, if U.S. Origin and FTA Declaration obtained from Supplier, put in Originating. If no declaration, then put in Non-Originating even if U.S. Origin.
Add Sub-Total Formulas in highlighted cells copied from Formula Worksheet. Insert Fixed Labor, Direct Labor, Overhead (Var & Fixed), Adjusted Value (Selling Price) from Costed Bill of Material Excel Sheets. Add Formula from Formula Worksheet to determine profit. Check Subtotals and Totals to ensure formula correct. Add Formula to get totals for Originating, Non-Originating, Self-Produced and De Minimis. Check Totals to ensure formula correct.
Complete RVC calculation using RVC Formula on Formula Worksheet. Complete both Build-up method and Build-down method RVC calculation. When Free Trade Agreement Qualification Worksheet is completed, load into Reno's Microsoft Team Site. Notify Trade Compliance. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering


• Proficient with SAPGT system to generate costed bill of material reports in excel


• Proficient with Excel to add formulas, macros where needed instead of doing manual entry to the costed bill of material


• Project oriented to solicit and manage country of origin declarations from suppliers each year, track request date and received date, ensure certificates are received, track effective dates and request updated or new certificate when required.
