Job Description
As the Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Manager in timely review of new sensitive ultra high-risk accounts and special-risk accounts being on-boarded.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in the approval and ongoing review of new sensitive ultra high-risk accounts and special-risk accounts to ensure that regulatory and Group requirements are met.
- Enhancing of sanctions controls through the addition of prohibited names/entities to internal watch lists, CIF suspension.
- Provide support to the Manager in all Project -related initiatives and ensure completion of these projects.
- Review of all manual triggers/red flags escalated and provide recommendations/report to Manager with risk analysis and risk mitigation after completion of thorough investigations.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years compliance experience in the review of ultra high-risk and special risk accounts
- Adequate knowledge of UAE Central Bank AML rules and regulations. Reasonable knowledge of banking products and operations
