General Manager - Projects & Delivery - FinTech

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned General Manager - Projects & Delivery to lead end-to-end project execution, client delivery, and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership in managing large-scale fintech implementations, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple fintech/payment technology engagements
- Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure with adherence to timelines and budgets
- Manage cross-functional teams including product, engineering, QA, and client stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality delivery standards and continuous process improvements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key escalation point
- Implement delivery governance frameworks, risk management, and reporting mechanisms
- Drive resource planning, utilization, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and business growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards relevant to fintech/payments
- Mentor and develop high-performing delivery teams
Key Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in project management/delivery leadership, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technology projects
- Strong understanding of payment systems, digital banking, or financial platforms
- Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and resource planning is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications

- MBA / Engineering degree (preferred)
- PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications (good to have)
- Experience working with global clients or in GIFT City ecosystem is an advantage
