Senior Analyst Finance

Under general supervision, develops moderately complex financial models, and prepares forecasts and budgets for one or more business areas
Essential Functions

• Develops highly complex financial models, documents assumptions, and reviews outcomes.
• Performs due diligence for enterprise-wide strategy, product launches, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as other ad-hoc analyses.
• Presents findings to senior leadership and management to support decision processes.
• Prepares and analyzes revenue and/or expense budgets.
• Compiles standard reports to communicate variances and other findings to senior leadership and management.

• Serves as a subject matter expert in interpreting accounting results into financial models.
• Coordinates system automation projects as needed to improve analytical and reporting efficiencies.
• Coordinates, conducts and documents complex financial analysis and other accounting related projects.
• Mentors and/or trains less experienced staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in progressive accounting and/or finance roles.

  Get Hired
• Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Insurance or Financial Services background preferred.
• Financial modeling experience required.
• Advanced MS Office skills required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Public Accounting experience preferred.
