Remote-Technical Lead Informatica, DBT, Snowflake- Insurance - PST/MST- C2C -CH

Role: Technical Lead Informatica, DBT, Snowflake

Locations: 100% Remote

Duration: 3+ Months Contract

PST/ MST based candidates only (Need flexibility with hours to sync with the offshore team)

Requirement:

• Develop, design, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Power Center, DBT and Snowflake
• Expertise in designing solutions for data vault architecture and snowflake data base
• Work with DB2 and Snowflake databases for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data processing.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the insurance domain to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work within the SAFe Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Use Rally to manage project tasks, user stories, and agile workflows
• Informatica Power Center Strong ETL development experience, DB2 Strong SQL skills and database management experience, Insurance Domain Knowledge Understanding of insurance business processes and data, SAFe Agile Agile methodology experience, Rally Experience with agile project tracking tools
• Focuses on Informatica mappings and workflows, along with DBT.
• DBT is being used to convert legacy applications.
• DBT is a mandatory skill, along with Snowflake.
• Must be able to do DBT on Snowflake.
• Data Build Tool (DBT)
• DBT is called Data Build Tool.
• Its a SQL-first based ETL transformation workflow.
• Converts mappings into SQL code to create tables, pull data, and load it into the target.
• It is an open-source tool.
• Informatica, DBT, and Snowflake
• Informatica is an ETL tool, not a warehouse.
• Snowflake is where everything resides.
• Most items are being converted from Informatica to DBT.
