- 1. Business Growth & Revenue Delivery
- Drive life insurance premium growth through bancassurance partnerships.
- Achieve regional targets for APE, case count, productivity, and activation ratios.
- Build quarterly & annual business plans aligned with bank potential and company goals.
- Identify high-potential clusters and drive focused growth initiatives.
- 2. Bank Relationship & Mindshare Management:
- Build strong relationships with Zonal Heads, Regional Heads, Cluster Managers, and Branch Managers. Position the company as a preferred insurance partner in multi-partner bank setups.
- Increase visibility through joint reviews, training, and performance dashboards.
- Ensure consistent engagement with bank leadership to strengthen strategic alignment.
- 3. Winning Mindshare in Multi-Insurance Partner Banks:
- When 3+ insurers operate in the same bank, the AVP must:
- Strategic Actions:
- Ensure faster service & policy issuance turnaround than competitors.
- Provide superior branch-level support & problem resolution.
- Build personal rapport with branch staff and relationship managers.
- Conduct joint customer meets & wealth sessions to create demand.
- Offer customized sales pitches aligned with bank customer segments.
- Provide sales kits, need-analysis tools & quick premium illustrations.
- Run performance recognition programs for bank staff.
- Mindshare Drivers:
- Visibility regular branch visits & leadership engagement
- Ease of selling simple products & quick underwriting
- Incentives recognition & contests for bank teams
- Reliability service excellence & claim settlement support
- 4. Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 80+ including Cluster Heads, Area Managers & Relationship Managers.
- Set clear KRAs and productivity benchmarks.
- Drive performance cadence through daily/weekly reviews & dashboards.
- Identify skill gaps and implement structured training interventions.
- Build succession pipeline and leadership depth.
- 5. Branch Activation & Productivity Enhancement:
- Improve active branch percentage and per-branch productivity.
- Drive branch engagement calendars and structured sales drives.
- Ensure daily morning huddles & opportunity funnel tracking.
- Monitor lead conversion and cross-sell penetration.
- 6. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop region-specific growth strategies based on:
- Bank customer profile

- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across the region.
- Maintain quality business mix and persistency standards.
- Monitor mis-selling risks and customer grievance resolution.
