Job Description
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for end-to-end on-site execution of hybrid renewable energy projects (Solar + Wind), ensuring projects are delivered within timelines, budget, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of solar (ground-mounted) and wind energy projects at site.
- Ensure construction is completed as per approved design, scope, and technical specifications.
- Monitor and control project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
- Track project progress and implement recovery/catch-up plans.
- Act as single point of contact for all contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor contractor performance against scope, quality, and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and safety standards for both solar and wind sites.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes.
- Maintain all safety and quality documentation.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of solar plants and wind turbines.
- Ensure closure of punch points and smooth project handover.
- Obtain work completion certificates and approvals from clients.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely approvals, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Maintain strong communication with head office and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and audits.
- Maintain records such as muster rolls, wage registers, insurance, and permits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Science
- Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety (ADIS/NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)

- Strong knowledge of solar and wind project safety requirements
- Understanding of statutory regulations (BOCW, Factories Act, Electricity Rules, etc.)
- Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
- Good communication and training skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, reporting)
- Knowledge of ESG, GRI, or sustainability reporting (added advantage)
- Experience in solar rooftop, ground-mounted solar projects, and wind turbine installations
- Exposure to IMS (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Experience in handling audits and client inspections
