Site Reliability Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Site Reliability Engineer role located in Pune. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for :

Develop and maintain our application platforms and their shared services (such as Azure Kubernetes clusters)

Develop self-services for the development teams to rapidly provision application environments

Help in the transition from purely operational work to SRE practices

Identify and automate manual and repetitive IT operations tasks

Enable observability to help understand and monitor the internal state of the system and of our services

Develops and maintain tools which support development teams to deliver quality software faster (like CD pipelines, monitoring, logging)

Qualifications

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience with a strong understanding of SRE principles and practices
• Experience with debugging, optimizing code, and automating routine tasks
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud stack and Azure DevOps
• Experience in system administration and infrastructure management with knowledge of Linux systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Get Hired
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good to have experience with tools such as Git / GitHub, SonarQube, Splunk (Core and Observability), Openshift, Grafana, Kibana and Elasticsearch
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus
