Purpose:

The person will play a critical role in managing and executing core finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining statutory compliance, and strengthening internal controls. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of finance functions, with the ability to support strategic planning and operational excellence in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Deliverables

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate and support internal, statutory, and tax audits by ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of audit queries.
• Handle direct and indirect tax compliance including timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns, and liaising with consultants and authorities as needed.

  Contribute to financial planning and analysis, variance reporting, cost optimization, and process improvements to drive financial efficiency.
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of financial data, maintain accurate records, and collaborate cross-functionally to support business and compliance goals.

What were looking for:

• Qualified CA is mandated.
• 2-6 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounts, within a fintech or technology-driven organization.
• Strong proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and familiarity with accounting software; exposure to automation tools will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, audit procedures, and financial compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
