Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned leader to head Back Office Operations for our PNC Broking division. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in underwriting, finance, and claims management, coupled with proven leadership in managing large-scale teams and driving operational excellence. This role requires strategic oversight, transformation leadership, and strong client engagement skills to ensure seamless delivery and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage back-office operations across PNC broking, underwriting finance, and claims functions.
- Oversee a workforce of 200+ FTEs, ensuring productivity, compliance, and service excellence.
- Drive leadership transformation initiatives to build a high-performing, future-ready organization.
- Champion process excellence by implementing automation, lean practices, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Manage P&L responsibility, ensuring cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business strategy.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards across all processes.
- Develop talent pipelines, mentor managers, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Deep domain expertise in PNC broking, underwriting finance, and claims operations.
- Proven track record of managing large teams (200+ FTEs) in high-pressure environments.
- Strong leadership and transformation experience, with ability to drive organizational change.

- Financial acumen with hands-on P&L management experience.

Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Operations, Risk, or Process Excellence (preferred).
- 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
