Position Overview:

The Risk Analyst positions are crucial for monitoring security systems, conducting regular security assessments and audits, assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies, analyzing security breaches, staying updated with cybersecurity trends, collaborating with senior analysts, and preparing reports for stakeholders

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond promptly to security incidents
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies
• Analyze security breaches to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies
• Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to enhance overall cybersecurity posture
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies and protocols
• Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well, both independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications, example: CompTIA, Security+
• Hands experience with cyber security tools and technologies
• Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure
• Experience in a cyber security internship, or related position
• IT-related processes, data and systems
