Job Description

About the Role:


The Senior Presales Analyst role is designed for individuals who excel in managing and supporting end-to-end presales activities, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders and deliver outstanding proposition with right pricing to customer. This role focuses on bid management, solution shaping, and status reporting while supporting the overall deal lifecycle with moderate complexity.


The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern software delivery frameworks (Agile, DevOps, Digital Factory) and the ability to contribute value propositions and support proposal creation with direction from more senior roles and SMEs.


Key Responsibilities:


Bid Management:


- Support the decomposition of RFPs and RFQs into clear deliverables for contributing teams.


- Assist in assembling the right SMEs across domains to address proposal requirements.


- Coordinate activities across the proposals timeline, ensuring adherence to deadlines for deliverables.


- Contribute to defining the storyline and flow of the response with input from senior stakeholders.


Solution Contribution:


- Transform provided SME content into polished and professional proposal responses with appropriate formatting and structure.


- Perform research to address gaps in SME inputs or low-complexity solution areas and work them to fix the gaps.


- Coordinate with designers to create visually appealing and well organized deliverables.


Commercial Support:


- Support validation of estimates provided by SMEs by checking against previous responses and simple industry benchmarks.


- Maintain familiarity with foundational pricing models (T&M, Fixed Price) and coordinate with commercial teams to ensure cost competitiveness.


- Collaborate with account managers to gather data for pricing recommendations under guidance from senior presales leads.


Executive Reporting:


- Prepare structured updates on bid status for leadership, including summaries of key milestones and risks.


- Assist in organizing bid meetings and reviews by providing reports or facilitating discussions.


- Create concise briefing documents with input from the broader presales team for senior-level stakeholders.


Your Skills and Qualifications:


Experience:


- 3-5 years of Experience of working in a Enterprise project or product development environment and have exposure/knowledge of SDLC and modern tooling. Expected to have worked in roles such as business+ tech analyst, solution designer, Component/ tech lead in the teams.


- Good Understanding of modern software engineering concepts such as Agile/Lean delivery, DevOps, and CI/CD.


- Knowledge or exposure in estimation of mid level technical solutions and understanding of solution layers (FE/BE/DB..) and components (Interfaces, Monitoring & Telemetry etc) . Solutions worked on could be Cloud native application development, API layer developments, Domain specific applications with higher functional specifications (PLM, CAE, Simulation..) etc .


- Working knowledge and understanding of one or two industry domains and functional landscape (E.g Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy, Retail

- 3-5 years of experience in client facing roles, or solution delivery roles in the IT or consulting space and interest to shift into value creation roles contributing to overall business growth of the company


Preferred :


- Experience in presales with knowledge supporting RFP/RFQ processes and contributing to the preparation of proposal responses.


- Candidates with IIM/IIT or Tier 1 premier institutions background


Technical Knowledge:


- Exposure to at least one pricing or estimation modelstory point driven approaches are a plus.


Skills:


- Strong skills in organization and coordination, able to manage multiple activities simultaneously.


- Excellent written communication skills to structure professional and clear responses.


- Ability to work on powerpoint and word documents in greatest detail and create content in presentable format.


- Foundational analytical skills to validate SME inputs and ensure logical alignment with RFP needs.
