SOC

• Graduation in EC or CS or IT or Information Security or Cyber Security or MCA.
• Working experience as a Security Analyst for a minimum of 5 year(s)
  
• Should have an In-depth knowledge on security tools and technologies not limited to SIEM, Nextgen Firewall, Anti-Apt, NBAD, WAF etc.
• Should have an in-depth knowledge regarding access manage like PAM, IAM etc.
• Should have In-depth knowledge of Security Operation processes, incident response, log analysis and should have troubleshooting capability.
• Knowledge on OS security (Windows, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS, VMware), network security and cloud security.
• One of the certifications CISM/CISA/CISSP/Security+/CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA Network+/CCSP/CCIE/CCDE is mandatory
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on establishing, optimizing and managing Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current security posture, including existing SOC capabilities, architecture, people, processes and technologies.
• Review of Bank’s existing logging and monitoring mechanisms and identify the additional sources of logs that needs to be captured to ensure completeness.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of SOC operations through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and enhancements to strengthen security posture.
• Develop, recommend and optimize SIEM use cases aligning with industry standards and client needs.
• Review the incident response plans and playbooks tailored to banking-specific threats, ensuring swift and effective response to security incidents, including data breaches, fraud attempts and ransomware attacks.
• Assist in developing SOC policies, procedures and standards aligned with industry regulations and best practices, such as PCI DSS, SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001 etc.
