Job Description

Your role as the ESAB Project Enterprise SAP S/4HANA Record to Report (R2R) Lead involves overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the R2R process within the SAP S/4HANA environment. Collaborating closely with the finance team, IT team, and other stakeholders, you will ensure a smooth flow of data for accurate and timely financial reporting.

You will be based in Chennai Ambattur and work during the night shift. Your responsibilities will include working with stakeholders to comprehend and document the R2R process flow across various SAP modules such as FI, CO, and CE. Analyzing and designing the R2R process, including data mapping, reconciliation procedures, and reporting formats will be crucial.
Designing and executing optimized R2R solutions within SAP S/4HANA, configuring ledgers, accounts, closing procedures, and reporting tools will be part of your daily tasks. You will conduct gap analysis, define business requirements, configure SAP S/4HANA for R2R functionalities, develop R2R workflows, and automation solutions.

Collaborating with IT teams to integrate R2R functionalities with other systems, understanding financial reporting requirements, and identifying areas for enhancement will be essential. You will also develop and maintain complex financial reports and statements adhering to GAAP and IFRS standards, while providing training and support to users on R2R functionality and best practices.
Ensuring the accuracy of financial data throughout the R2R process, participating in system upgrades and migrations, staying updated on SAP S/4HANA R2R features, and joining R2R project teams for successful project delivery will be part of your role. You should have at least 5 years of experience as an SAP S/4HANA R2R Functional Consultant, with a minimum of 3 different implementation projects, and proven expertise in SAP R2R functionalities, including FI, CO, CE, and EC. A strong understanding of the R2R process and related accounting principles like GAAP and IFRS is required for this position.,
