Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Esteem Projects Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for designing Fired Heater and Piping projects according to ASME codes. Your role will involve conducting design calculations, supervising drafting work, reviewing sub-vendor designs, preparing MTOs, and ensuring timely project completion. Additionally, you will be involved in structural design, piping layout, project management, client coordination, and progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design calculations of Heaters, Structures, pressure parts, and Piping as per ASME Codes
- Supervision of Drafting work
- Review of sub-vendor drawings and designs
- Drawing checking
- MTO preparation and checking
- Procurement engineering
- Structural design
- Piping layout and design
- Project Management
- Coordination with client and consultant
- Coordination between different departments
- Reporting of Progress
- Planning activities
- Any other activity required to ensure job completion in time and as per client requirements
Qualifications Required:
- M.Tech / B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Good knowledge of design and calculation for heavy structural/piping design
- Specific knowledge of Fired Heater projects preferred
- Excellent communication and PR skills
- Proficiency in computer usage
