Job Description
Responsibilities:-
- Create and maintain Excel-based financial models with forecasts
- Benchmark companies on financial and operating statistics
- Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities
- Collect information from industry / sector databases
- Calculate / compare valuation comparable
- Handle ad hoc research requests
- Collect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters
- Coordinate and maintain industry databases, wherever relevant
- Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA
- Prepare company profiles, earning notes, quarterly updates, coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters technology primers, flash notes, theme-based reports, etc.
- Summarize investment conference calls, as well as conduct management interviews
Skill:-
- Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines
- Basic knowledge of macroeconomics / microeconomics, aggregates, and regression analysis
- Strong accounting and financial skills
- Out-of-the-box thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

- Knowledge of VBA will be an added advantage
Qualification:-
- MBA / CA, with relevant experience in equity research
- CFA Level 1, 2, or 3 (pursuing or complete) will be an added advantage
