Data Engineering & ML Internship

Everlytics is looking for internship candidates interested in launching their career in Data Engineering & Machine Learning. No experience is required. But if you have been trying to pick some online courses and are a quick learner, this internship will set you on a guided learning path.

DE SKILLS

1. Basic Skills:

• Python, Numpy and Pandas
• SQL

2. Specialized Skills:

• NoSQL data stores (Elasticsearch/ OpenSearch)

ML SKILLS

1. Data Mining algorithms

• Regression, Classification, Clustering, Forecasting and Association
• Good understanding of at least 2 algorithms

2. Scikit-learn

Note: If you know only Deep Learning and not conversant with the above Data Mining algorithms, there is a very little chance of getting selected into this internship.

SELECTION PROCESS

Stage 1: Screening & Test

Based on the self learning youve done so far you will be shortlisted for a test (aptitude and technical) and a Counselling session thereafter.

Stage 2: Bootcamp (1 Month)

This is a pre-internship bootcamp where you are required to complete relevant online courses by working under a Mentor.

You will get a tailored learning path and access to the courses after the counselling session. Mentorship and guidance will be provided by Everlytics.

There will be a short on-the-project assessment at the end of bootcamp before starting the actual internship.

Stage 3: Paid Internship (6 Months)

Stage 4: Full-time Job (optional)

After successful completion of internship, you will receive a full-time job offer.

Internship graduation criteria (for full-time regular position):

• Having worked on 2-3 real projects (or modules) during the 6-month internship.
• Having mentored at least one bootcamper cum intern during your 2nd quarter of the internship.
• Ability to complete project tasks independently with directions from your mentor, fast learning, client interactions and proactive communication skills.

OTHER INFO

• Please note, this is more like an apprenticeship (where you will be working in a real project) than internship (where you are asked to work on an R&D task).
• This is a remote internship with flexible working hours, but you have to be available for at least 3-4 hours during 9AM-6PM IST
• Stipend INR 7500 per month will be provided during the internship. No fee is taken for the Bootcamp.
• 2024 and below graduates are preferred. But if you are exceptional and graduating in 2025, you will receive a formal internship offer letter that you can submit to your college for seeking credits and attendance relief.
