Job Description
- As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Everstage, a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup, your role will involve executing the design, implementation, and management of security measures for our cloud-hosted web application, mobile app, and third-party integrations. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field along with 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, showcasing expertise in securing cloud-hosted applications.
Your responsibilities include conducting thorough security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks in our systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure coding practices and adherence to best practices.
Moreover, you are expected to implement enterprise-scale cyber security solutions in alignment with security strategies and secure configurations for cloud infrastructure. Monitoring and responding to cloud security alerts, incidents, and events, proactively mitigating risks, and making continuous improvements will be part of your daily tasks.
Your expertise in cloud security hardening, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), IAM, EDR, MDM, SAST, DAST, and the implementation of DevSecOps principles, firewalls, ZTNA, as well as your thorough understanding of cloud security principles, web application security vulnerabilities, and common cyber security attacks will be essential in this role.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing robust security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices. Staying abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and threats in cloud security and providing insights to enhance our security posture will also be crucial aspects of your role.

Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, self-driven with agility, adept at adapting to a dynamic fast-paced environment, and possessing effective communication and leadership skills are qualities that we value in this position.
