Accountant

Job Title: Finance Accountant

Company Overview: A product innovation company creating kickass robots in the technology education space.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accountant to join our finance team. The Finance Accountant will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly salary processing by co-ordinating with teams for the same
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
• 
  Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Finance Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
