Hiring: AI Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Fixed Term Employment Basis

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Duration: 2 Years, extendable by 1 year based on performance and organizational requirements

Location: Gujarat, Ahmedabad

Remuneration: Monthly consolidated remuneration will be determined based on the candidates current/previous remuneration, qualifications and relevant experience.

About the Role

The organisation is inviting applications for the position of AI Engineer (AI Infrastructure) on a fixed-term employment basis.

The role will be responsible for supporting and administering AI servers and cloud infrastructure, ensuring system availability and performance, managing backups and access controls, and providing infrastructure support for AI and enterprise technology environments.

The position will also involve coordination with IT teams for database support, data storage, cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and monitor AI servers and cloud infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.

Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and overall infrastructure health.

Provide hands-on administration and support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Ensure high availability and uptime of critical infrastructure and services.

Manage backup, recovery and data protection activities.

Support user access management, permissions and authentication requirements.

Assist with database infrastructure and related technical support activities.

Manage and monitor data storage resources and utilization.

Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams on infrastructure security requirements.

Support implementation of security controls, policies and compliance requirements.

Maintain technical documentation, system records and operational reports.

Support infrastructure upgrades, configuration changes and technology enhancement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies, procedures and applicable security standards.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess any of the following qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Information Technology

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology

BCA / MCA

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT Infrastructure and/or Enterprise Architecture.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is essential.

Experience in cloud infrastructure administration, server management, backup/recovery, storage and access management will be preferred.

Experience in enterprise IT environments and infrastructure security will be an added advantage.

Contractual Terms

The engagement will be strictly contractual for an initial period of Two (2) Years.

The contract may be extended by one additional year, subject to performance and organizational requirements.

The contractual appointment will not confer any right to regular employment in the organization at any point of time.

The appointment may be terminated by either party by providing one months prior notice or payment in lieu thereof.

Monthly consolidated remuneration will be based on the candidates previous/current remuneration and relevant experience.

Selection Process

Applications will be scrutinized by a Selection Committee based on eligibility, qualifications, relevant experience and suitability.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview.

The decision of the Competent Authority regarding selection shall be final and binding.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a technically proficient AI Infrastructure / Cloud Infrastructure professional with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud administration, system monitoring, backup, storage, access management and security.
