Job Description
- The responsibilities of this role include setting project objectives with the client, identifying opportunities, and developing problem statements. You will be responsible for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, handling large volumes of data, research for variables, and working with structured/unstructured data. Additionally, you will be developing models using appropriate predictive analytics techniques and ensuring clear and detailed documentation of the modeling procedures. You will also participate in various analytics projects and work on ad-hoc requests relating to data extractions and visualizations as per client needs.
We are seeking a proactive individual who can define analytic strategies to meet business requirements, technical requirements of analytic solutions, and data requirements of analytic solution processes. As part of the Data Science team for a major Insurance client, you will work with different stakeholders as Subject Matter Expert for data science. The role involves engaging in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies and developing new solutions when necessary.
The ideal candidate should have 7-12 years of experience in a similar role and possess a proactive attitude. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not mandatory. Personal qualifications include a deep understanding of analytics, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. Experience in client interactions is also desirable.

Required education and skills for this role include an academic background in Science (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, etc.) and strong IT skills. Hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Data Preparation tools such as Python, Pyspark, SQL, along with good knowledge in advanced analytics, Machine Learning, statistical, data mining, and text mining techniques in Regression or classification are essential.,
