Job Description
- You will be taking on the role of Senior Assistant Vice President in the General Analytics domain, specializing in Manufacturing and Automotive sectors. This position will be based offshore in India, with a hybrid working model allowing you to work partly from home and partly from the office. Your work hours will be from 12 PM to 9 PM IST.
Your main responsibilities will include acting as the offshore delivery lead for analytics projects in the Manufacturing and Automotive domain, working closely with both onshore client teams and EXL leadership. You will serve as the primary offshore point of contact for client stakeholders and internal leadership to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and outcomes. Collaboration with onshore Engagement Managers and client teams will be essential to understand business requirements, define analytical challenges, and provide actionable insights.
As a leader in this role, you will manage multiple analytics projects with diverse team structures and service delivery models, focusing on maintaining high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing a team of 38 consultants, which includes Team Leads and Analysts, guiding them through project execution and ensuring adherence to defined methodologies and quality standards. Furthermore, you will contribute to problem-solving, solution structuring, and execution planning in collaboration with onshore teams.
In addition to project management tasks, you will play a crucial role in talent development by hiring, training, and managing offshore analytics teams. Your expertise in manufacturing and automotive analytics will be vital in providing thought leadership, contributing to solution design, and supporting business development efforts through proposal creation and client presentations.
To qualify for this position, you are expected to hold a Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields. You should have a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in analytics delivery, consulting, and client engagement, preferably within the manufacturing and automotive sectors. Strong skills in marketing, operations, and strategy analytics, along with experience in managing offshore teams and delivering analytics services globally, are essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and stakeholder management capabilities are also required for this role. Experience with tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms will be advantageous.
Your role will involve maintaining regular communication with onshore leadership and clients, providing updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment to project objectives and timelines.
