Job Description
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in managing APAC Payrolls (China, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Hongkong etc.)
- Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required. Must have a high degree of accuracy and a customer-service approach. Must demonstrate a knack for navigating in an ambiguous environment.
- Responsible for End-to-End payroll process.
- Strong understanding of Tax, Social Insurance, Employment Law and Regulatory Practices in relevant countries Responsible for End-to-End payroll process.
- High School Diploma or Industry recognized Qualification/equivalent experience
- Intermediate - advanced use of Office applications (Excel/Outlook)
- Ability to manage Internal and External Audit requests escalating any concerns and questions that arise.
- Work on different platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, CloudPay, etc.
- Manage day to day responsibilities through the payroll cycle with full accountability and ownership.
- Responsible for compliance adherence in countries you support.
- Handle escalations of employee queries through ServiceNow tickets with an expectation to provide a high calibre service to employees utilizing consistent global standards.
- Handle escalations from stakeholders/employees, including senior leadership on issues related to Payroll.
- Build a strong and collaborative relationship with HR and Finance colleagues in relation the countries you support
- Generate and act on reports from Service Now, Workday and Cloudpay.

- Work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Preparation, review and maintenance of SOP’s, Guidelines and Checklist for all payroll related processes
- Ensure high levels of accuracy of payroll results whilst identifying, documenting, and escalating all issues in relation to payroll or data quality and timeliness
- Support local, regional, and global payroll teams on projects related to Payroll.
- Vendor Management - Proactively manage payroll related vendors, ensuring productive and transparent relationship.
- Work with Audit & Compliance teams when required in supporting audits and compliance reviews.
