Job Description

    As a Senior Consultant in Business Consulting within the finance domain at EY-GDS-BlackLine, you will play a crucial role in helping clients develop their Change Management/Performance Improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting finance process assessments, analyzing pain points, and providing solutions to drive performance improvements. You will work on a variety of projects across industries and countries, making this a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm and contribute to the growth of a new service offering.
    **Key Responsibilities:**
    - Possess 2-4 years of consulting experience
    - Experience in real-time projects related to finance functions with knowledge of technical solutions like Oracle ARCS, Trintech, BlackLine, Onestream
    - Familiarity with finance functions such as Record to Report processes, account reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany activities, etc.
    - Knowledge of Financial Consolidation and Close, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning, and Budgeting Processes
    - Understanding of ledger and sub-ledger systems with technical know-how of SAP ERP/HANA, Oracle GL (preferred)
    - Strong accounting skills and ability to interpret financial reports and statements
    - Experience in Chart of Accounts design
    - Proficiency in activities related to financial close processes for month/quarterly/annual close
    - Ability to translate business requirements into technical language and implement them in applications
    - Supervisory skills to manage teams effectively on project work
    - Capability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in high-pressure environments
    - Willingness to travel (Domestic & International)
    **Qualifications:**
    - MBA or Masters in Business Administration in Finance or CA or CFA
    - Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering
    - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
