GDS QE_Testing_Life and Annuities Insurance Functional Testing – Senior
As part of our Global Delivery Services, you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative Life and Annuities solutions for our client in supporting technology such as DXC Family and TAI Life and Annuities COTS platforms to improve testing approach and enhance customer satisfaction
Skillset Description
- A strong academic record including a B.E level or equivalent IT related degree
- QA accreditation (ISTQB Foundation, or a similar IT accreditation from a recognised third level institution or accreditation body)
- Have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in full time Life and Annuities functional testing role
- Should have working experience in various Annuities Line of Business such as Index-linked annuities, fixed and variable annuities, fixed indexed annuities, income annuities, etc (Primary and Must-Have)
- Should have working experience in various Life Line of Business such as Term Life, permanent Life including universal life, indexed universal life, whole life, and variable universal life (Primary and Must-Have)
- Should have expertise working in various DXC Policy and Compensation Administration platform products like Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA), Cyberlife, Vantage-One, Performance Plus (PPLUS), New Business Accelerator (nbA/nbU) Product Wizard (PW), Visual Product Modelling System (VP/MS), Automated Work Distributor (AWD) technology platforms (Primary and Must-Have)
- Should have expertise working in Reinsurance administration platform like TAI (Primary and Must-Have)
- Should have expertise working in Illustration platform like ForeSight (Must-Have)
- Should have expertise and experience in test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence tools (Must-Have)
- Building Test Automation Framework in Selenium and Robot Framework (Good to Have)
- Should be familiar on DevOps frameworks in AWS Cloud (Must-Have)
- Should have hands-on proficiency in functional test strategy and test plan preparations, test design and test case preparations, test data management and test execution of in-sprint, System integration Testing, End-to-End testing, Regression and Smoke testing aligned to Life and Annuities functional end-to-end value-chains workflows and business functions
- Should be able to support and perform User Acceptance Testing
- Should be able to lead, plan, direct, coordinate and reporting on testing delivery activities across the owned delivery workstreams
- Should be responsible for contributing to the delivery of IT Projects through methodologies such as Agile Scrum/Kanban and traditional Waterfall (when required)

- Create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems
- Should be able to drive, suggest and demonstrate the client on the Functional value-adds by bringing in the Point-solutions and accelerators
- Should be able to do peer-review of the testing deliverables including reviewing the root causes from production defects or issues or any enhancements with preventive course corrections
- Have prior experience of leading a team and directly interacting with client Subject Matter expertise, Business Analysts and relevant stakeholders
- Should be able to support Automation team on right selection and approach of Automated test cases
- Should be familiar with code reviews, design patterns, and implementing best practices in functional testing
- Have structured approach to problem solving and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently managing own workload with an attention to detail
