Experienced Python Developer

Responsibilities
As our Python Developer, youll become an integral part of our new development team in Thane, India, contributing globally with your expertise in Python to produce top-tier, user-centered software. Your dedication to quality work will drive the promotion of development best practices, ensuring maintainable, neat, and functional code while tackling technical challenges head-on.

• End-to-end development lifecycle of Python-based services, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
• Refactor and maintain already developed Python services.
• Create, test, and document API services for integrations with various applications.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the API services.
• Collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for intricate business processes and features.
• Research and implement new technologies and best practices in the field of Python development.

• Work independently or in teams of different sizes to update or build new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  

You will be sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Youll actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum activities, promoting effective teamwork and project success. By staying updated with emerging trends and technologies youll contribute to our international development teams commitment to excellence.

• 5+ years of working hands-on experience in Python development.
• Good knowledge of API services development using FastAPI framework.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous and object-oriented programming principles (OOP) including principles such as SOLID.
• Strong experience with ecosystem of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib libraries.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and relational database design.
• Understanding of REST principles and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.

• Basic knowledge or interest in machine learning and/or data science.
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate challenges or issues proactively.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest) for writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Experience working with file-based systems is an advantage.
