What student learns during externship:

• Attend trainings on a variety of technologies
• Participate in professional development workshops focused on effective communication, presentation skills, resume writing, networking and mock interviewing

• Enhance you collaboration skills by competing in a coding challenge with fellow externs and FactSet Engineers

• Meet members of FactSets Executive Team to learn about their different leadership journeys
• Learn about FactSets industry, core products, who our clients are, and various teams within our Engineering organization
  

Technical Skills Required:
Experience and/or interested in learning Full Stack Web Development, C++, C#, or other OOP language, Excited about problem solving, Ability to work independently while also being a great team-player, Positive, can-do attitude
Student Information:
The FactSet MESH program brings together people with a common interest in the Financial Technology (Fintech) industry. We are looking for talented, hard-working, and out-of-the-box thinkers who are interested in learning more about what it is like to be a Software Engineer in the Fintech industry. The FactSet MESH program provides third year university students that have an interest in computer science with a hands-on experience working with Software Engineering teams while participating in professional development and networking opportunities.
