Job Description
Role/Department Description:
The News, Research, and Filings team provides high value, real time financial documents for both external and internal clients and users. Our clients rely on our news, research and global filings for real time financial information and for performing research and historic analysis of companies and markets.
Research Content PD team works with Engineering Support team to fix application/content bugs and enhancements. This group works with sales consultant and internal stakeholders to address content and Research entitlement issues.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support the Research Content PD team in the following efforts:
- Onboarding new contributors
- Responding to sales and client research content questions and issues
- Creating and managing internal process documentation
- Vendor communication
- Communicate content requirements with research engineers.
- First-line content development support for Research content bugs and entitlement questions.
- Test linkback content and content enhancements before final QA testing.
- Assist with Research content enhancement projects.
- Demonstrates continuous learning of research content and takes on more responsibility within the content area.
- Actively shares ideas towards process and output improvements.
- Demonstrates a reasonable level of work independence in successfully tackling tasks and projects.
- Reports to and consults with team mentor/leader/manager for any and all work related questions and concerns and escalates higher level issues to supervisor/s
Required Skills:.
- Has a basic understanding of the client’s needs for specific product/content area.
- Has demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across various teams and audience and to document processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & Power Point).

- A solid understanding of financial markets, Real-time market data, one or more FactSet content areas (e.g., Research, Fundamentals, Entities, etc.), interest in Research content.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Graduate degree in finance, accounting or the equivalent strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated.
Job Requirements
- Current designation should be in Associate Content Specialist, Associate Product Specialist, Process Specialist, Quality Control Associate, Senior Research Analyst.
- Minimum total experience should be 24 months.
- For internal candidates, minimum Factset experience should be 12 months.
- For internal candidates, minimum previous annual and mid-year rating should be 3.
- For internal candidates, employee should not be in PIP.
