Job Description
Role/Department Description:
The Research Analyst is able to integrate Benchmark products and support or fix data integrity concerns from stakeholders, within a specified time and while adhering to workflows and best practices. The position entails being independent, detail-oriented, technically inclined and having the ability to interface regularly with other teams. It is highly required for one to have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate for this position must be flexible to adjust to the work schedule, as dictated upon by business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Attend internal department training
- Performs responsibilities associated with the creation of products and content quality
- Ensures scope of any request is clear
- Provides sufficient updates to stakeholders and meets target times
- Handles and resolves client queries
- Troubleshooting & Resolving issues/failures
- Understands escalation protocols for extraordinary issues
- Communicates gaps in guidelines and documentation
- Completes client queries
- Meets target productivity points and adheres to quality standards
- Interacts with different internal teams
- Interacts with benchmark data provider
- Uses proprietary software to query data
- Composes client communication and product documentation
Required Skills:
- Has an undergraduate degree with a focus on math, statistics or the equivalent
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong command of English for both written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Has strong numerical skills and is detail oriented
- Has demonstrated an aptitude for business technology [Microsoft Office Tools, Outlook, FTP, etc.]
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Highly organized and punctual with deadlines
- Enthusiastic, driven and a strong sense of initiative
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of Excel; must be able to manipulate large spreadsheets
- Amenable to work in different shifts
