Operations Team Lead - Treasury

The Treasury Operations Team Lead oversees daily treasury functions with a focus on FX trading, pricing, and risk management. This role involves leading a team to handle FX cash/Tom/spot, forwards, and zero-cost structures while maintaining client and banking relationships. Responsibilities include transaction recording, market monitoring, and ensuring operational efficiency in a fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deal, price, and execute FX transactions including cash (same-day), Tom (T+1), spot (T+2), forwards, swaps, and zero-cost structures to manage currency exposure.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and banking partners, negotiating terms, fees, and services for optimal FX execution and funding.

Monitor and track FX markets, positions, liquidity, and risks; perform reconciliations and report variances to mitigate exposures.

Lead and mentor the treasury operations team, ensuring compliance with policies, processes, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA, CTP, or treasury certification preferred.

4+ years in treasury operations, with 1+ years in FX dealing/pricing (spot, forwards, zero-cost structures) and team leadership.

Strong knowledge of FX markets, instruments for pricing and monitoring.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in treasury systems, FX trade booking, and risk management; experience with multi-currency transactions.

Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills with banks and partners.
