Finance Associate

We are looking for a results-driven, high-performing and confident Associate to join our Finance team, and you will be expected to work in fast paced environment to deliver on accounting, reporting & analytical fronts. In addition to day-to-day accounting & reporting, Associate will assist in formulating sound financial strategies, implementing appropriate internal controls, implementing industry best practices, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Solution Design, Requirement Gathering, Implementation, UAT Testing, of mid-size ERP System.


• Detailed understanding of processes related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Revenue Management, Intercompany Transactions, Reporting etc.


• Worked with clients to gather business requirements for new and existing projects to design, develop and test the requirements during the course of the project.


• Managed configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports and dashboards.


• Troubleshooting & Supporting issues related to the implemented ERP application.


• Be the point of contact for ERP Technical Support Team, Middleware Support Team and other Engineering Teams.


• Work with Product, Markets & Operations Teams to set-up new products in the ERP System.


• Day to day accounting, book-keeping as per the extant GAPP (US, IndAS or IFRS).



• Preparation, Review of Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Financial Statements.


• Consolidation of various entities to deliver Group's results quarterly, annually.


• Inter company Balances monitoring, settlement, managing Tax Transfer arrangements.


• Understand the company's operations and settlement processes, support the trade operations & settlement team by preforming daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations & attestation procedures.


• Assist in preparation of budget forecast, review actuals and execute budgetary controls and prepare monthly budget vs. actual analysis.
  

Success

• As Associate - Finance, you will help the team successfully implement & run the ERP application, while working with external vendors.


• Build in-house accounting & reporting capabilities, streamline & consolidated Finance & Accounting process and ensure real-time & accurate financial information to all the stakeholders.


• You will be required to work very closely with Markets, Trade-Ops & Product Teams to ensure best financial outcomes for the organization.

• Over a course of time, build SME knowledge (from accounting, reporting, regulatory perspective) of the environment the firm is operating in.
  

Requirements

• Accounting Graduate + Professional degree in accounting (preferably Chartered Accountant).


• Experience of 4-7 years of implementing an ERP in a similar industry (Banking, Broker-Dealer etc. ) and specifically with the Trading division.


• Understanding of E2E Trade Flow & related dynamics (Settlement, Market-making etc. ).


• Enthusiastic, Self-starter, Detail-oriented with excellent analytical & problem-solving capability and will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Willingness to continuously learn and be open to operating across various functions.


• Penchant to learn about Fintech, blockchain, and digital assets.
