Fantail is a venture-backed B2B manufacturing startup reimagining the Man-made Fibre (MMF) textile ecosystem. We sit at the intersection of material science and enterprise fashion retail, designing and manufacturing high-performance textiles for brands. With two rounds of institutional funding and offices in India's textile hubs, we are scaling rapidly and looking for a foundational leader to optimize our "source-to-shelf" engine.
The Mission:
As the Operations Lead, you won't just be managing a process; you will be designing the blueprint for how Fantail scales. You will bridge the gap between our design studios in Gurgaon and our manufacturing powerhouse in Surat, ensuring that our supply chain is agile, cost-efficient, and tech-enabled.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Supply Chain Orchestration: Manage the flow of materials from MMF yarn procurement to finished garment delivery for enterprise clients.
2. Process Engineering: Identify bottlenecks in the current manufacturing cycle and implement SOPs to reduce lead times and wastage.
3. Vendor Ecosystem Management: Build and manage strategic relationships with spinning mills, processing houses, and logistics partners.
4. Inventory & Working Capital Optimization: Work closely with the finance team to ensure lean inventory management without compromising on fulfillment speed.
5. Tech Integration: Collaborate with the product team to digitize the supply chain, moving from manual tracking to real-time visibility.
6. Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the "glue" between Design, Sales, and Production to ensure client specifications are met with 100% accuracy.

2. Analytical Rigor: You love spreadsheets but understand that the real insights often come from the factory floor, not just the screen.
3. Execution Focus: You have a bias for action. You'd rather ship a 90% perfect solution today than a 100% solution next month.
4. Communication Pro: You can negotiate with a veteran mill owner in Surat and present a QBR to institutional investors with equal ease.
5. Interest in Sustainability: A genuine interest in how MMF (polyester, nylon, etc.) is evolving toward a circular economy is a huge plus.
