Position: Legal Officer - NBFC & Cyber Crime
Location: Mumbai, Nahur & Andheri
Experience: 2 - 3 Years
Qualification: LLB/LLM
Role Purpose: The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing end-to-end legal support with a dual focus on NBFC regulatory compliance and cybercrime matters.
The role involves advisory, compliance management, dispute resolution, and active involvement in handling cyber frauds, online financial crimes, and legal risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure NBFC compliance with RBI regulations, circulars, and compliance frameworks.
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues impacting NBFC operations.
- Lead investigations and legal proceedings in cybercrime incidents, online frauds, phishing scams, and digital fraud callers.
- Draft, vet, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and policies.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution including recovery, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Liaise with regulators, law enforcement agencies, cyber cells, and external counsels.
- Conduct legal research on NBFC laws related legislation.
- Maintain updated compliance trackers and legal documentation.
Key Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of NBFC sector regulations & RBI guidelines.
- Strong expertise in cybercrime investigation & advisory.
- Proficient in legal drafting, research, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
