Job Description

You will be responsible for supervising and leading Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance activities. This includes tracking expenses, overseeing the budget, and ensuring the proper functioning of various systems such as DCS, SCADA, BMS, Field instruments, valves, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and more. You will create and implement maintenance procedures, conduct regular inspections, and manage all repair, troubleshooting, calibration, and installation activities. Adherence to safety policies and procedures is crucial.

In addition, you will provide input for the annual budget process, document daily progress reports and maintenance logs, oversee spares stock, and ensure no downtime due to spares non-availability. Your role will also involve managing all maintenance systems and personnel, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and optimizing production maintenance processes for improved productivity and quality.
You must hold a B.E/BTech degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication and have 10 to 15 years of experience in industries such as Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Chemicals, or Consulting. Key behavioral skills required include ownership, leadership, team management, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, influencing, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Your technical skills should include expertise in DCS troubleshooting and programming, SCADA & BMS systems, PLC & HMI programming, field instrumentation, calibration, valves & actuators maintenance, power systems, fire alarm & gas detection systems, energy & power management, and statutory compliance. Additional skills such as programming skills in Siemens & Allen Bradley PLC/HMIs, knowledge of communication protocols, experience with maintenance management systems, operation, and maintenance of utilities, Lean six sigma, TPM, and ISO certification on Energy Management are preferable.
