About your team ISS Data Engineering Chapter is an engineering group comprised of three sub-chapters - Data Engineers, Data Platform and Data Visualisation - that supports the ISS Department. Fidelity is embarking on several strategic programmes of work that will create a data platform to support the next evolutionary stage of our Investment Process. These programmes span across asset classes and include Portfolio and Risk Management, Fundamental and Quantitative Research and Trading. About your role This role sits within the ISS Data Engineering. The Data Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the data applications and platform that enables the ISS business to operate. This role is appropriate for a senior data engineer capable of taking ownership and a delivering a subsection of the wider data platform or data applications. As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer with machine learning focus, you will transform our organizations analytics and AI capabilities by Driving AI Innovation, Enhancing Decision Intelligence, Establishing Technical Excellence, Enabling Business Transformation Key Responsibilities . Lead design and implementation of machine learning solutions for complex investment challenges . Establish model development standards and implement explainable AI aligned with business needs . Design robust ML pipelines using Python scientific libraries and composite AI techniques . Implement model governance, versioning, and lifecycle management practices . Create API and containerization solutions for seamless model deployment . Build monitoring systems for ongoing quality control of AI implementations . Mentor junior team members in machine learning techniques and best practices . Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions About you . Required Skills & Experience o 10-15 years of total professional experience with 5+ years in machine learning and analytics o Advanced SQL skills across different database platforms (particularly Snowflake) o Extensive experience building and deploying supervised learning models, including regression techniques and classification o Expertise in model explainability, feature engineering, and optimization techniques o Proven ability to apply composite AI techniques to solve complex business problems o Strong understanding of model management, versioning, and governance practices o Proficiency with Python ML libraries (scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib) and data exploration tools o Experience in API management and containerization for ML deployment o Excellent problem-solving skills and cross-functional communication abilities . Desired Skills & Experience o Knowledge of financial services domain, particularly investment management o Experience with neural networks, deep learning, and other advanced AI techniques o Familiarity with Apache Superset and data exploration tools like Open Refine o Experience with LLM integration and RAG implementations o Experience with MLflow for model lifecycle management o Familiarity with Go and R programming languages o Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS .
