Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and profitability of the branch by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. You will be required to develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, AUM (Assets Under Management), and profitability targets. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities in wealth management, investments, insurance, and other financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing investment advisory and wealth solutions.
- Ensure delivery of superior customer experience and timely resolution of client queries.
- Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff including Relationship Managers, Wealth Advisors, and Operations team.
- Set performance goals, monitor productivity, and ensure continuous training & development.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in regional strategy formulation and contribute market insights.
- Represent the branch in corporate initiatives, product launches, and networking events.
- Drive digital adoption and process automation initiatives within the branch.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of wealth management products such as mutual funds, portfolio management services, insurance, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing high-net-worth clients.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulatory framework (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, AMFI).
